login not working

hi

i just upgraded to the latest version. the "Login" link from the main page is not working.

however if I type the url www.outzeal.com/zp-core/admin.php in the address bar then the required page is displayed and i can access my control panel.

    Not much yet, we look into the issue some time and then fix it.

    just saw github yesterday. i believe the issue is closed. So whats the conclusion, i cant understand that thread.

    Another thing I discovered right now is that the login link issue is only from the first page i.e. www.outzeal.com

    and from the "NEWS ARTICLES" and "PAGES" (on the right side) e.g. http://www.outzeal.com/index.php?p=pages&title=skiing

    From any other page it works fine! e.g. http://www.outzeal.com/index.php?album=scuba-diving/

    That's the latest version (1.4.5.7) but with bug fixes.
    The link is on the homepage right next to the download buttons.

    No Success, The issue is still there

    Note: Since I will be only using the Zenpage Theme, is it ok if I dont upgrade other themes?

    If you are not using the other themes, why would you not upgrade them? Anyway, the answer is that Zenphoto is a package. You should replace the whole package or things are likely not to work.

    The reason this is not working from your index page is that somehow the colorbox login option is not happening. The Zenpage theme "forces" this option because there is not sufficient room in the sidebar for a logon form.

    But this did not happen for your site. So, what modifications have you made to the theme?

    Your login is not working because the colorbox javascript is not being loaded by your theme. So, have you modified this theme at all?

    Try setting the user_login-out plugin option for the login form to "colorbox"

    Thanks Chief, that was it: "Setting the plugin option to colorbox" resolved the issue. I wonder how did it change automatically after the upgrade.

    Last night I opened the options for this plugin and was about to experiment but just ignored it since I didn't know the logic.

    Reason I was asking not to upgrade themes which I am not going to use was to save time, since zen-photos upgrades are very frequent. However they are so far all updated and there are no design modifications in the theme I am using. Though I am thinking how can I fit in google ads in this theme.

    Anyways thanks a lot, much appreciated.
