I also have a ZenCart site but it doesn't seem there's any direct connection?
I have my ZenPhoto/Page site mostly setup now. I revised the Effervescence template for what I need - and I'm very impressed. I needed a CMS mainly, but ZenPhoto was so attractive I decided to make it work somehow and that's when I discovered ZenPage. This is a very nice combo!
One thing I need to fix somehow: I need to limit the random photos so they are only selected from one album. It's pulling them out of all three folders/albums and some of the photos look awful (I have the random photos on the home page to make it interesting.) Some photos are better suited than others... so if I could set up one folder specifically for the random images it would make a better impression.
Or, I'd like an autorunning slideshow for the home page. That would be a very nice plugin option to add to ZenPhoto/ZenPage. Seems as if there are a lot of requests for it. Are one of the media players able to do it?
Another topic: I'd like to see examples of sites that are using the PayPal plugin. I looked at the Showcase but I couldn't find one with PayPal. Seems like it would be nice if they listed any plugins they are using. Or, it would be nice if some of the templates were already set up with certain plugins. A PayPal template for example. Or FLV Player, or Google Checkout or Class video.
I did a mass search on all the template files for the word "paypal" and there's nothing on the templates, so how and where does it pop up?
If I can see things in action it helps to understand it. The user manual speaks code and I'm not very fluent in code although I do know how to rearrange it fairly well.
Thanks again. The people who have seen my site are inspired, they might use ZenPhoto/Page too.

That our manual speaks code but that is not avoidable. We have a tutorial how to read the documentation on our user guide section. It is far easier than it looks!
We do not setup all themes with all plugins to "not bloat" the code too much. It is generally really very easy to add plugin support. You most often just have to enable the plugin and basically just need to add one additional function to your theme files as documentated.
It is recommended to read our theming tutorial to get familiar with zenphoto theme in general. Zenphoto is all about flexibility especially theme wise. You will like that once you got a little into that.
The class-video is just an additional class that does nothing itself, it just provides support for the video player plugins like flv player. Enable that or the flowplayer and then you can use movies within your albums like images.
I hope that helps a little for now. Further questions are always welcome but please also search the forum and read on our user guide. Thanks.
Your ZenPhoto/ZenPage package is very comprehensive. I'm finding everything I need. Your theming tutorial is much better than I realized. At first I thought it was just elementary stuff (where are the themes located) but you really do get into some explanations of code, further down. It's very useful and helpful.
I tried another CMS before ZenPage. There was NO documentation and the forums weren't very helpful. The community there was talking about giving up, and I think the biggest reason why they weren't growing was because it was very hard to figure anything out.
I know it takes a huge amount of work to cover all the bases the way you have, and maintain a beautiful site and forums, all of which is on top of producing a very good script. You deserve a big round of applause. And a huge pay raise.
When I win the lottery I'm going to be very generous to all my favorite open source programmers...
