If I understand correctly, the Zenphoto itself is updated. How do I disable this feature? After the upgrade breaks galleries name in Russian language.

No, Zenphoto cannot update itself automatically. If you see the "setup files" warning, that is different and widely discussed on topics like this http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=17131 and explained on our installation page.

Again, Zenphoto has no auto updater. You have to upload the files yourself via FTP to update.
If you used any of those 1 click install helper scripts on your host maybe that does such things. Then you have to ask those providing that script. We don't recommend, use or know what these do. http://www.zenphoto.org/news/installation-and-upgrading
