I know this has been asked before but I didn't understand the answer.

Is it possible to disable the random image in Effervescence+ and if so, how?

My programming skills are poor - can work it out given enough time and typewriters :-)

Sorry, the answer is still the same, you have to edit the theme.

And the bit I don't understand is.....,

"First, you are not using the latest release which is 1.4 and second, this is not really the efferescence+ theme. Anyway, review you theme modification code."

The bit you cite is of course aimed at the old post form years(?) ago… I don't know anything about your install naturally.

The function is name, well, randomImage… But you don't edit "functions", you edit your theme files. Sorry, there is no simpler answer. To learn the basics about Zenphoto theming read:

The Efferscence theme is a bit more complicated than described in the tutorial but it would be the indexpage.php file of the theme. See the "daily image" options at the beginning.
