I have a folder thats not showing up in my album list. But its available if I type the url directly.

/index.php?album=promobank/carma/2015/weekly

Then it is probably not published and you are not logged in (logged in admins see unpublished items).

I added a folder directly in the Server (source location). thes however does not show in the ZenPhoto UI, when i browse the albums.

I however can see the the folder and it content when browse path directly.

Could you please tell me how to sync this, so that the new folder(s) created are synd and show while browsing the Albums?

Again, check on the backend if the folder is really published or if there are any errors in your server logs. Wrong permissions can cause this as well.
