I've installed ZenPhoto successfully many times, but never before on goDaddy. I have installed it, the Admin functiosn work fine, I can add photos to an album, all OK.

But when I click "View Gallery" I am returned to the initial installation screen with all the checklists.

What makes ZP think I need to re-install?

Setup wants to run if the server configuration changed or file times differ or files within core are found that should not belong there. Also if the version of Zenphoto changed.

How did you install? Via one of those 1-click-installers possibly? If so maybe try a manual upgrade as described here: http://www.zenphoto.org/news/installation-and-upgrading/

Well, I came back to this a day later. I tweaked the 'albums' permissions and now it works. I can't tell if it was just the passage of time or the permissions. I wonder if there are multiple servers handling my site and their file timestamps aren't all in sync?

Now I have a new problem, the album images won't appear in the gallery, you can see their name and position but the image itself is a gray box or nothing. Hmmmm.

This current issue seems to be different than the original. I will open up a new topic.
