I have been using http://www.haveamint.com/ for a little while and have recently hooked it up to my zenphoto theme. Through mint I can see what photos, albums, etc are popular, as pages, and now that I use the nice mod_rewrite + zp 1.0.8.2, the paths are nice and clear.

However, I'd love to write a mint plugin (called peppers) that would clearly list the most viewed photos and albums. Has anyone looked at a way to see what items are popular already.

Not sure how to do this. Might make sense to write a pepper that filters out the non zp urls and figures out popular albums and images through URLs only or looks at database counts that zp would update.

Thoughts ?
