as I can see there https://www.zenphoto.org/news/features/#manage-image-video-and-audio-files, mov video files are supposed to be supported by zenphoto.
so, I uploaded a mov file but I am unable to see this video in the relevant album (in admin/album or in front end).
it works with mp4 vieao files (not tested with other video format).

other (maybe related with previous issue): the plugin seo_cleanup seems to not clean up video filename.
in fact, my video are called mélie.mov and tést.mp4. the last one is cleaned up, but not the first one.

Zenphoto does not support mov (quicktime) files anymore since 1.5. From the release post:

class-video: Dropped support for the outdated legacy Quicktime format no one should be using anymore. Adds native HTML5 support for mp4/m4v (video) and mp3 (audio) in capable browsers.

Quicktime was an Apple specific format that not even Apple uses anymore and no browser ever directly supported. Use mp4 videos instead. We just forgot to update that user guide entry.
