Album Sorting not working - awpti - 2008-10-14
Howdy.
I've created a few albums and the sorting was working until I added the 4th album, now it won't let me sort them at all. The admin side shows the correct (desired) sort order and the Album Archive page shows the album correctly sorted. The front page does not update when I change the sort order
I'm trying to order my own local copy of the APOD Archive (2007-2008 and on) by month. It's just not working. Latest version (not SVN) is installed.
NOTE: I am not using the static html cache plugin.
Any thoughts?

Okay, it looks like ZenPhoto's front page is only based upon the order in which albums are added.
I can't seem to find where to change this in the code - I'd like the front page sort order to match the sort order I've defined in the admin panel (Like the Archive page does).
Is this a buried query or bit of code that handles the page ordering? I'll assume a query somewhere in the core that I can't seem to find.

You can do this by admin, options, gallery configuration, sort gallery by then save
You can also go to edit and arrange the order manually if you wish. again remember to save.
