is there a recent plugin for google Analytics?
I download one, and put it in the plugins folder, but it don't show up in the plugins page

No, there isn't. We have a plugin for self hosted matomo as that is more privacy friendly.
But it is really simpe to add the script to a theme or even to write your own plugin for this.
