CSS on Default Theme - Dharker - 09-05-2007 Hi there, This should be simple but I'm obviously missing something. All I want to do is change the main background colour from that odd blue back to white in the default theme. I'm sure it's in the CSS somewhere but I can't seem to fine where no matter what I try. Ideas? Cheers CSS on Default Theme - Blackjackskanz - 09-05-2007 I am not looking at the CSS right now but what I do when I am trying to change a color and I want to find it fast, I just take a screenshot and use the eyedropper in Photoshop to find the hex number for the color and then use Control+F on the CSS to find the value and change it. CSS on Default Theme - Chilifrei64 - 10-05-2007 not sure if your talking about the background or the blue in general but the color is in the body section of css for the background. Other than that.. firebug for firefox is a dream come true when it comes to debugging css CSS on Default Theme - Dharker - 10-05-2007 Cheers I did the photoshop thing. That sorted it out. Though I changed it last night and nothing seemed to happen (even after refreshing it) but looking today it's all sorted. Thanks for the help. CSS on Default Theme - pennylessz28 - 22-12-2007 I know this is old, but I wanted to throw out an idea, if you want to better fimliarize yourself with how CSS works in a theme, just use photoshop to make some ugly colors, and change some things, then you look for the ugly color and you can see what changed in your theme. Kinda how I taught myself. CSS on Default Theme - sbillard - 22-12-2007 Did you try the 'light' scheme option? There are several CSSes you can choose from in Default. Look at the theme options in Admin. |
