I have installed Zen Photo for the first time on the above. I got into the admin fine and I have uploaded a single picture fine. However, I have the blank index page. I changed $conf['mod_rewrite'] = true; to false and that did nothing

It is currently set to true because I know mod_rewrite works on my server. However, I have had to rename the htaccess file because with it named correctly I got a 500 internal server error. So I am assuming it is something wrong in my htaccess file. The only thing I altered was my absolute path which I have put as:
RewriteBase http://photos.littlebigfoot.org.uk/
If I change it to:
/var/www/vhosts/littlebigfoot.org.uk/subdomains/photos/httpdocs
It doesn't return a 500 error. But I still get a blank index page.

I have phpinfo loaded at:
http://photos.littlebigfoot.org.uk/phpinfo.php

Any ideas please?

I'm presuming as I have drawn a blank on replies - there is not a way forward on this one. I must admit it has me confused.
