Just wanted to share an application of zenphoto that I have not seen represented as much -- the artist's portfolio (my first zenphoto!!). The following is is the normal zenphoto structure with the website built around it: http://www.soniakaneart.com/

the part that I think is unique to an artist's portfolio is that the names of the images should be featured more prominently than is needed with photos -- descriptions and prices are also vital.

My question is, who has done something similar? I'm doing one for another artist and would love to improve on the design/structure this time... looking for fresh approaches to the artist's portfolio. Suggestions welcome!

I have used Zenphoto to display my art/paintings but this example you are sharing is much more nicely designed than mine. I really like the way you get your zenphoto theme to load into your html page design. With mine, I kinda have just used the stock zenphoto format nothing different just with the dark black theme:
