I've got to say that ZenPhoto really improved my life. I was searching for years for a gallery script like this. I moved a site from one server to DreamHost yesterday and it went well after I followed a couple of the threads here (duh!)

The site, that I showed you all before, now gets 12,000 new visitors a day, so I had to move it since the old host was complaining by way of putting CPU quotas on my domains.

Here's the first link: http://www.BizarroArtist.org -- this is a gallery of Dan Piraro's cartoons. He's the syndicated cartoonist and funny as hell!

My site, finally done, is http://www.DropSoul.com - it's done with Zen Photo and sNews. Totally excellent applications.

Peas,
Christina

Thank you Tristan -- you are a Zen master!

DropSoul.com has to be one of the most original uses of ZenPhoto to data! Well done!

Yeah, that's a freaking awesome site (dropsoul.com). Love it.

BizarroArtist.org is also great!! I love Bizarro! Some great cartoons, and perfectly displayed with a nice custom theme.

Great work Christina, thanks for sharing, and it's good to see you're still around

As for your last comment there, I, who loses focus in this work in favor of more lucrative pursuits, am no zen master. I hope I can balance this into the equation somehow, I'm remembering how much I enjoyed making it to begin with. Such a sense of purpose and vision I used to have...

I lose focus too sometimes and we all have to "go lucrative". I gotta pay my child's tuition. Otherwise, I'd make sites for free for non-profits and help beautify the web. I'm making a bumper sticker that reads, "My other car is my child's tuition"

The schools are crowded, the kids are mental, so I went with a school that has only 12 kids in the class and a really fun, atmosphere, but it's expensive.

It means so much that you like my site, I've been working on it for a long, long time since I don't have time to work on my own projects very often.

carasmo-

your kid will appreciate it later. my oldest daughter is in her last year of her private school, and she's had a wonderful time and has received a good education so far. It's expensive, but so worth it. it seems like a sacrifice, but kids are the best sacrifice you can make, because of what they can grow to be, and how proud you are of them when they succeed.

And your sites are very well done. I like how you've integrated zenphoto.
