stupid question :
I installed the 1.08 version last night. I need subalbums to function. Is this functionallity in 1.08 ?
Can I just upgrade from 1.08 to the latest version on the community branch ?

There is limited subalbum function in 1.08. The community branch has much more. You can upload the community branch then run upgrade.php.

just tried it... and it works...
zenphoto is just what i needed.. it is so lightweight and easy to understand that i was able to 'integrate' (iframe) it into drupal in about an hour or so...
