Is it pissble to have multiple installs of ZP on one server? The reason is that I'm going to have my own galleries as well as gelleries from at least one other person and I'd like for the galleries to be separate.
From what I've read, it seems like if you set up separate databases and put ZP in two different directories it should work.

zenphoto is not very big and not very demanding on the database. I run 3 galleryies off my home server which is a slow piece of garbage and zenphoto runs find. All of which are on the same database
then I have 8 on my webhost which I host for friends. All on the same database.... there should be no problem with this. Just make sure you put each gallery in the database under a different prefix
