Comments moderation. I can't validate comments... - pierre-henri - 2008-08-21

Hello,

I've received a comment about one of my pictures. I've also received the notification email and I see the comment correctly in my admin. But I can't validate it.

What can I do to validate the comments ?

Thanks.

Are the comments marked for moderation? If so, click on the icon for the moderation and the comment will be removed from moderation and show on the site.

I am not able to reproduce this on build [2246]. So, perhaps some other fix also has corrected this issue. Also check to see if you have the folder zp-core/locale/en_US/. If not, create it. When that folder is missing saving options sometimes has problems.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

In fact, comments are marked for moderation. But, in the admin, on the «Show» column, there is no icon for validate messages.
I've tested, with Firebug in Firefox, to examine the code to find the line of the eventual icon but the is empty.

I've checked your 2nd solution but the folder already exists...

That is because the column you want is the spam column. There should be an icon that looks like a ? there to click on to remove the comment from moderation. the show column is indicating that the comment was marked private.

Just to note: in the svn this column has been renamed to "private" now.
