Zenphoto should support swf files in the future, as it'd be a lot less painless than converting them. It should also be more simple to make videos work, as I have no clue how to make my flashes appear on my album.

Activate one of the flash player plugins and put one movies of the supported formats into your albums.

Regarding .swf. None of the flash players we use supports that.

I tried that, mang. It was my first instinct, as a matter of fact. Unfortunately, flvplayer doesn't show up in my plugins and flowplayer doesn't work with the theme I use.

If you don't give us more information we can't help. So what theme and zenphoto version do you use?

Never mind, I figured it out. But that's beside the point. Is it simply up to the makers of flvplayer/flowplayer whether or not they want to support swf files?

To whom else if not the makers? Why don't you suggest it on their forums for example?
