404.php in theme not worling on Php 5 - boo - 2009-01-31

Hi, I have just changed my hosting to Php 5 and everything is fine except for the 404.php in the theme does not work, I get the standard page cannot be found.

Have searched but cannot find a solution.

Must be something else, I am running PHP 5 with out seeing this problem.

Hi, ok have tried using error document 404 in a .htaccess file but no luck.

The server is running Php 5 via fastcgi could that be the reason ?
