PHP setlocale() failed on setup - what now? - hp09 - 2009-02-23
I'm trying to install/setup the gallery. The first page gave 3 warnings:
PHP magic_quotes_gpc [is enabled]
PHP gettext() support [is not present]
PHP setlocale() failed
Does this mean I cannot use Zenphoto? I have no access to the hosting/PHP server.
The page has no buttons to continue the setup.

It means that Zenphoto will be only in US English language. No translations will work.

i have the same thing, i'm using streamline.net for my hosting but it comes up with the same problem

and i have no clue what to do, i used winamp and it works perfectly but when i try and upload it to the server i'm using or just a fresh install of zen photo it doesn't work. anyone have any ideas on how to get around this?

sbillard already mentioned what this means. You would have to ask your ISP about that.
Excuse me, what does Winamp have to do with that???
