On page slideshow: the definitive answer? - damienouebe - 2009-06-08 Hello, I searched the docs and the forum, tried various hacks (lightbox, thickbox you name it). Nothing satisfying. Is there, somewhere, a central doc page detailing:
Lightbox or whatever, I don't care. I want it to work Even if I have to dig (a bit) in the template. Would that be a plugin? A template hack? A library? Is there a documentation out there(wiki?)? Thanks in advance for your hints/links/help! Cheers, On page slideshow: the definitive answer? - acrylian - 2009-06-09
Also a good idea would be to read our theming tutorial. On page slideshow: the definitive answer? - damienouebe - 2009-06-09 Hello Acrylian, I had seen the slideshow function which is quite nice, but does not quite (in my humble opinion) match the "fun" aspect of a lightbox-like effet. Out of the box, I am getting a blank window upon a click on the "full size" image. Suggestion: for most beginners, it would be best to activate thickbox or whatever by default. In any case, I will look again at the theming tutos which seem quite detailed. Thanks again! BR, On page slideshow: the definitive answer? - acrylian - 2009-06-09 Out of the box, I am getting a blank window upon a click on the "full size" image Well, in my opinion a slideshow and a lightbox generally are two different things in my opinion. Btw, thickbox is already included in the package (zenpage-default theme uses it for the full image). On page slideshow: the definitive answer? - damienouebe - 2009-06-21 Hello Acrylian, I have tried several settings for image protection and indeed tried to unlock everything when (back to defaults) when it kept not working (the way I wanted). Yet the default theme does not make use of thickbox, I had to alter the template to add the "rel" info to the link. Anywhay, thanks again for the tools which is already very nice and also very promising BR, |
