i upload a picture in a new album. Now i get this message:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /is/htdocs/**/franksblog/zenphoto/zp-core/exif/exif.php on line 164

In frontend and in backend.

I cant delete the picture via FTP.

Whats wrong?

There is a problem with one of your images. Also, probably, you are not running the current version of zenphoto (1.2.5) which does a much better job of detecting this sort of issue.

ups... i download the version on your startpage.... i wonder if it isnt the last release?
it is 1.2.5 ......

Also its a "normal" picture, which i can view local without problems.....

Perhaps its the filename, which uses german "ü" ?

The one on the start page is 1.2.5, but you can check the version by looking at the admin overview page.

The error you are getting is in processing the EXIF/IPTC data so it has no bearing on viewing the image. Also not likely that it is the "ü".

If this is a new installation it may just be that the server you have is getting bogged down processing a lot of images. Does the problem happen only when that one image is uploaded?

it was only 1 picture i upload. And yes, the problem occurs only with this image.

But yesterday evening i could delete the image and category. Now, with another image, it works.

Strange....
