Styling the rating? - mypart - 2009-07-31

I know you don't do basic css/xhtml/javascript support, but maybe someone can point me to a good source preferably one where they also answer n00b questions concerning the styling of the lovely jQuery.Rating Plugin...
My problem is that it shows up different in FF and Safari.
I want it more or less the way it looks in FF:
First the "rating-cancel"-div and then the "star-rating" and then the submit button, all "inline".
On FF for some reason the submit button seems to jump above the stars.
On Safari after "rating-cancel" comes only one "star" then a big gap and the submit button. The other "stars" are on the next lines, each on it's own and "behind" the gap.
Any ideas?
On the http://www.fyneworks.com/jquery/star-rating/ page the examples are all wrapped into tables and table cells, I'd love to do without tables ;-)

(I'm trying to style it within the zenpage-default theme btw)

Somehow Safari has some issues with this rating jquery. Sometimes a page reload is necessary to get the right display. Don't know why actually..
