Odd IE problem with log ins - yellowcake - 2009-08-24
Hi guys, i have a strange thing happening with IE (tested with 6 and 7 on a physical XP box - ie 8 on Windows 7 Beta - virtual box)
whats happening is i log in using a guest account which lets the user in and displays all the albums, then when you click on an album it takes you back to the log in screen.
Then i tried the same thing on firefox (on the win7 - virtual box) and it behaves fine.
Safari, Firefox and opera on the mac are also fine so it seems to be an IE problem (arnt they all)
any ideas ???

Surely not an IE problem as my collegue uses that also. A few more details maybe? What Zenphoto version? What theme? What server? WAMP?

Most likely you have configured the browser to reject cookies. Without cookies Zenphoto needs the album sessions option set to remember logins.

ahh.. the cookies, yeah that could be it - I'll get them to check and turn sessions on. I'll do some tests this end too.

The sessions I was refering to is a Zenphoto option--album sessions.
