Weird login problem - David_1cog - 2006-06-10 Hi OK. I upgrade two ZP installs (1.0.1 -> 1.0.3) - no problems. Upgrade works and I can login to admin (using Firefox). Now I try a third and when asked for login / pass, I just get returned to 'upgrade.php#' page. I then try exactly the same login / pass in Opera instead of Firefox and it works (!). I now try to login using Firefox and just get returned to 'admin.php#'. I try same login / pass with Opera and IE6, and I'm logged in without problem. I've cleared Firefox cache and cookies, but the problem persists. Any suggestions please? Weird login problem - DarrellD - 2006-06-10 Try clearing your cookies in FireFox. A good thing you missed that or ignored it. :o) I thought I had cleared cookies, but I use http://www.ccleaner.com/ to do the job, and forgot that the site in question was in the 'keep cookies' list, so even though I cleared FF cookies, the Zenphoto ones remained. I deleted them manually and problem solved. Thanks. :o) Weird login problem - DarrellD - 2006-06-10 =P I missed it. Weird login problem - slidenby - 2006-06-11 I had this same issue after upgrading, and it was driving me mad. I could log in using any browser other than FireFox, even after repeatedly clearing all cache, saved passwords and cookies. I even reinstalled the browser and that didn't work. I was going nutty - then poof, it started working fine a few days later. Weird login problem - trisweb - 2006-06-11 Yeah, the cookies are pretty significantly different. I should have put a delete in the upgrade... maybe I still will. In any case, getting rid of them for sure should solve the problems, and they shouldn't come back. |
