administration of admission - speedy - 2009-10-20 sorry but i am brandnew in ZEN !! but i enjoy the time i experience - now I seem to have a problem : I will create a database for our group of friends with one large central album with ALL photos and e.g. 10 albums for each freiend one into which i like to place again ALL photos so that they can create their individual album - means delete rearrange etc with their theme etc. Now I have secured the access generally to the database in zen register through my website security with one password I have the 1 administrator - myself with ALL rights a) allowing the individual friend to see only ( allowing no changes, uploads etc etc.) the complete album ( my Album with all photos) b) allowing him to work exclusively ONLY on his individual album the administrator has set up with all photos copied into this album How do I have to set the rights in this box of various rights ? If I tick the only file he may work with ( his file name) which other of the available ticks may I tick on so that he CAN NOT work in the other albums just only in his ?? Thank you for helping me I am lost Peter MaC POWERBOOK G4 administration of admission - sbillard - 2009-10-20 Please read the article "An overview of zenphoto users (Rights management)" in the user guide. administration of admission - speedy - 2009-11-16 thank you I see this, BUT it does not explain how to change just the login name for a user ??? Otherwise you could try the database backup function and import that backup on the local install. (test before doing importing things). |
