Greetings - I have full root access to the server I have Zen Photo on. But, I keep getting this message from the setup utility:

Setup could not set the one or more components to the selected permissions level. You will have to set the permissions manually. See the Troubleshooting guide for details on Zenphoto permissions requirements.

What exactly do I need to do to allow Zen Photo to set the permissions?

These permission implementation is still under development (that's what happens with the nightly builds.) I expect an update tonight. If you still get this message after that update, please let us know.

But to answer your questions, the file/folder permissions need to be set to the most strict conditions that will still let Zenphoto function. On a well behaved server that would be 0755 for folders and 0644 for files. But they may need to be relaxed if your server does not consider Zenphoto the "owner" of its files.
