i wish to use the mod_rewrite, but on my galerie it doesn't work at all : i systematically have a 404 error form my provider (free) when i'm going to the image.php

how to now if i can use this feature with my ISP ?

You will have to speak with your service provider about this. Not something to do with Zenphoto. Please review the troubleshooting guide.
