Loving my first foray into Zenphoto, but I'm wondering if it's possible to allow Guest users (no username, just a password) to upload to a particular album?

I'm aware that this can be achieved by creating a regular user with the relevant permissions, but then anyone with the credentials can also change that user's password and hence break it for everyone else using the same login details.

No, your user must have a real account and upload rights. Of course a user can change its own passwords (why should he not?), a user account is not meant to be shared. You might want to try the user-groups plugin as well.

Zenphoto will not allow "just anyone" to upload to your site. This is really not a good idea since it would leave your site quite vulnerable to hackers. You should reconsider your need for this feature.
