'albums' directory cannot be found or is not readable. - Weekendboxers - 2006-08-18

Hello,

I've been working on this all day, so I decided to get some help as Zenphoto is the best choice for me.

Background info:
PHP Version: 4.4.3
MySQL API version: 4.1.21
GD Supported Version 2.0.28
mod_rewrite not supported (and thusly set to 'false' in the config file)

Now for my actual problem:
Everything installs fine and dandy, until I get to the following:

Creating tables...
Done!

You can now View your gallery, or administrate.

Obviously, I have no galleries, so I click on 'administrate' and get the following message:

Error: The 'albums' directory cannot be found or is not readable.

Both my albums and cache files have been CHMOD 777.

If anyone can help, I'd be highly appreciative.

Well, not sure what changed, just tried to re-install it for around the 5th try and miraculously it worked.
