Zenphoto gone haywire after domain propagation - hebcat - 2011-04-04 Hi there, I had zenphoto working brilliantly on a hosting-account-in-waiting (using the IP address instead of the domain name). When I initiated the domain name to point to the new server, it all went potty... First of course I changed any occurence of where I'd hard-coded the ip address. I've worked on the .htaccess file in the /zenphoto folder but with no avail. Where else should I be specifying the new domain name address? (or removing any trace of the old one?) Any where in the admin? or config files? Thanks so much for any help. Zenphoto gone haywire after domain propagation - acrylian - 2011-04-04 You actually don't specify the domain name anyway but on your server's settings. You should re-run setup and it will correct the htaccess file if not correctly set. Zenphoto gone haywire after domain propagation - hebcat - 2011-04-04 Hi Acrylian, thanks for helping me out again. Aye that's what I'd thought, and I did run setup earlier. I did it again, and this time it worked. Perhaps propagation wasn't complete? It did revert in the meantime back to the old website for a few minutes. Cheers Zenphoto gone haywire after domain propagation - acrylian - 2011-04-05 I have no idea. Zenphoto itself does nothing regarding domains, that is a server setting. |
