Hi all.
Newbie to ZP here and I'm working toward updating a multi-user friendly photo gallery.
I'm glad to have found ZenPhoto and I'm wondering a few things.
Firstly, is there a setting to or page to view the themes with the most current updates? I see the inclusion dates but not 'Updates'. This would be invaluable to me.
Secondly, I'm working with the Effervescence Plus theme and have been doing some heavy CSS mods to make it a seamless integration with my SkydiveBurnaby.com site. So is there an online resource for the Effervescence CSS and module settings? I'd like to create my own CSS file and have the theme point to my custom theme, is this possible?
Thirdly, and I'm sure the responses will be 'Visit the slimbox site' but maybe someone here can help me. When slimbox displays, the bottom container contains some info but not the info I'd like. Currently it says 'View the image'... I'd like to change this to automatically display the photos' caption and not include the 'View the Image' text. Which file do I modify to alter this?
Again, I'm a total newbie to ZP but I hope to become a long time user.

I am not sure what you mean. The standard themes included like Eff+ are always up to date as they are officially supported. We have no resources to check unsupported 3rd party themes of updates so you have to see the sites of the developer of these yourself or contact them.

This theme is quite complicated because of its different personalities. Zenphoto themes do not require any specific HTML or CSS setup actually, you are free to do regarding design. So there is of course no specific info on that theme. You have to get into it yourself.
To learn the basics of Zenphoto themes you should read the theming tutorial.
- Sorry, indeed the answer is visit the Slimbox site...;-) This might be hardcoded in that script.

The CSS files for Efferevescence+ are pretty well commented, and of course compring two will show where the color scheme differences lie. So if it is just color schemes it should be fairly easy to create a new one.
Layouts can be a bit trickier. However, you can safely ignore the personaliies that you do not choose to use.
