Using web.config instead of mod_rewrite for nice URLs on IIS / Windows hosting? - tedavery - 2011-07-20 I'm trying to migrate my installation of ZenPhoto to a new IIS webhost which does not allow me to use .htaccess unfortunately. Everything seems to work except the mod_rewrite magic. I know you can do URL rewrites by modifying web.config (I'm doing this for a Wordpress install and it works great) and I was wondering if anyone has a working version for ZenPhoto? I've seen mixed discussions of it around the boards but not a lot of definitive answers. The Wordpress example is here: http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/466/enabling-pretty-permalinks-in-wordpress/ Using web.config instead of mod_rewrite for nice URLs on IIS / Windows hosting? - acrylian - 2011-07-20 Sorry, I don't know anything about IIS. But I have a vast memory that someone posted something. Try a forum search or maybe we even have it on the extensions. |
