Hi
Not sure what's going on but when I do a "Pre-Cache Images" I can not manually change anything such as permissions or delete the cached files - they are set as owner and group to "apache".
Doing a "Purge Image Cache" clears the directory fine.
If I use my FTP program and create a directory it is fine i.e keeps the owner and group as "thestottfamily" (my FTP name).
So why can zenphoto delete these directories and files yet I can't via FTP?

MAybe ask your host about that. Might be how the server and the ftp user is configured. Normally you should be able to do that manually.
