Where is the upload folder where my images go? - bilona - 2011-10-11
Hi,
I've images which appear online in the albums I've created, but I can't see my local or distant upload folder; where is it? I see an upload folder (www/gallery/upload) where goes the (empty) folders I've created, but nothing in them.
Moreover, I don't know where to consult the database. I've created this gallery 5 months ago and it seems that I've forgotten all this. Sorry.

- Not sure what you mean, the database config info is within /zp-data/zp-config.php. If you mean how to look into the database ask your provider as he surely provides a tool like phpmyadmin or similar.

Thanks for your reponse. I was looking for images in the albums I created in the "upload" folder and didn't see them. Is this "upload" folder to put manually images ?
For the database, I use to create myself this database and I didn't remember having done that. That's why I didn't find it. Where does this database stands, on your servers ?

ALL images go in the root albums folder (actually within folder within that). There is no "upload" folder, in the root there is a "uploaded" folder. For what that is used is explained under the link above...
Re database: I can't answer, shared hosts usually have separate database servers. Your provide will know.
