Normal Image less saturated than full image. - Lenavincent - 2011-11-22

Hi!

I usually solve this problem by having the same size of the full image and the normal image, but after the installation it doesn't seen to work...

I have 100% of both normal and full image and use the default theme.

Why is it like this, and what can I do about it?

If you are using the GD library, there is no colorspace management. You can try the Imagik image handling. You can also try changing the image quality option.

Thanks for your answer!

The image quality are 100% for both.
Is it really necessary with "colorspace management" when all I want is to make it look like the original(full image)?
There must be an easier way. :/

Hopefully this discussion will answer your question:

In short: convert your images to sRGB before uploading.

hi

I have a similar problem on a demo website :
http://ifeeldirty.vincentbourganel.fr/fleurs/img_4841.jpg.php
The full image (uncroped) is nearby violet, and the image in image page (but it's the same with thumbnails), the color is nearby purple

I will try your tip
