with 1.4.2, if an album is unpublished and images of this abum are published, printRandomImages(1, null, 'all', '', 200, 200, false) can display these images.
with 1.4.1.6, in the same situation, printRandomImages don't display these images.

Is there a hierarchy or inheritance between the publication of albums, sub-albums and images that are in it ?
What has changed in version 1.4.2 on the rights of albums and images?
It is not clear to me.

Is-it an issue with 1.4.2 (I will create a ticket if necessary) ?

printRandomImages should not be showing images in unpublished albums. So this is a bug.

Never mind the ticket (for now atleast) I think I have found and fixed the problem in the nightly.

after installing the 1.4.2.1, I still have this issue :
printRandomImages displays published images of unpublished album.

Really logged out? Cache cleared? Do you use a special root album?

yes I am not logged in and I did crtl F5 to force the cache.

The unpublished pictures that I can see are located in a sub album.
the fist one is unpublished, the 2nd one (subalbum) is unpublished too
