I was wondering if anyone ever considered to make a theme based around a webcomic format rather than a gallery one.

I think Zen Photo could probably make for a good webcomic site template.

Well, apparently not. Btw, what exactly is a web comic format for you?

You know, having a first and last page button, (usually) having the latest page on the front page. There's usually a description/news section under or beside the comic, a lot of comics have a comment section underneath that.

Wish I knew more about PHP because I'm pretty sure ZP can do it, but it doesn't seem as easy to learn as HTML.

I dunno unless I'm missing something here, I don't think you can change the layout of themes.

Certainly cannot make much change without some knowledge of PHP.

Well, I have a photoblog theme in the works that will be able to do this. But this has no priority right now to me, so I cannot say when this might be ready.

You could alternatively use a theme with Zenpage CMS plugin support, set the news per page to 1 and enable the CombiNews mode setting "latest images - sized image". Then it will list all images within the news section in order of discovery.

The combinews thing does kind of come close, but wouldn't exactly work with what I had in mind.

I guess I could just make the site in regular HTML and if I can learn PHP re-do it in ZenPhoto.

Thanks for the help anyways. =]
