I am running version 1.4.2.4 of ZenPhoto. When I open an album and click on a thumbnail a new window opens that is a blank, black page. Right clicking a thumbnail and selecting View Image opens a page with the thumbnail. The photo never loads. Slideshow mode does work. I tried to upgrade to 1.4.3.1 but that failed miserably! I did a full backup of the site (a 5 hour job) and copied in the new files as I have done many times. When I tried to run the setup it could not connect to the database. There was a place to enter the connection info bu it still could not connect. I verified all the info and tried again with the same result. I deleted all the files except the albums and copied the backups from this morning and the site is back up but still has the original problem

Any ideas??

Please post the basic info:

• Which theme?
• Errors in the error log

Nothing in the logs later than August 10th. The theme is a custom one, but is the default theme with only some color changes in the css files.

Please try a standard theme. If that works something is wrong in your custom one.
