Hello all,

The album description next to the thumbnail on the index or gallery page contains normally some words and .... However recently when I changed the description it happened to show only the first word and ... on three of my album previews.

How can I change this back to normal? Thank you in advance!

Just found it out myself: When trying to edit the description on the album page itself, when the fieldset opened there was html code which probably was considered as text by the parser. And since the album description text displayed on the preview is set to 45 characters there were only a few characters left for the actual description.

I've just found this thread because I do have the same problem. But I haven't been able to fix this.

My description of the albums on the index-page is too short and I would like to increase them. Can anyone help me?

Modify the theme used which you didn't tell.

Sorry, don't know where to change code to show the complete description.

I got it. It was the gallery.php that has to be changed.

The value of this function shortenContent(getAlbumDesc(), 185,'...') has to be changed.
