I'm sure it's possible.
The same anwers apply as to your previous posts about changing things in the backend ;-)

We are open source so you can change and modify as you like. I still don't understand why that is needed… (beside a matter of taste).

Our admin.css is a bit grown over times and scheduled to be reworked as the html structure of the backend itself. A matter of time as always.

Generally we will probably never support "backend themes" as that will make supporting really problematic. You don't modify Wordpress or most other CMS, do you? (I know there are CMS that have backend theme functionality though).

@acrylian...i am not trying to have a backend theme. Since Zenphoto doesnt support any frontend handling of albums, images or uploading hence i am trying the other way round so that people get a impression that they are using the site from the front door and not through the backdoor.

The reason of such posts by me because i am using your open source to make a website where skilled photographers of our college will be uploading their snaps. And as they will be my users hence i need them to have a good design impression.

Ok, no problem, just asking out of interest. I still think a bit "education" about the tool used would solve that "problem" :-)

As you said once before you don't want to confuse your users by having the front and backend look different, right? I meant that just "educating" them the difference between the site and the management layer (works well with my clients that are often also a bit far from web techniques and such).

I really can't answer offhand. I would have to search myself but I don't have the time to . Some of the styling also depends on the uploader used which brings its own bit of style (jquery, and flash is not changeable at all I think).

Well thats a bad news that jquery isnt changeable, still if you can spare me a bit of your time by helping me find out the lines, it will be of great help..

jQuery is of course, but that is probably independent from the forum css. Sorry, I fear you have to figure it out yourself. Lack of resources, you understand hopefully.
