Is anyone out there using ZenPhoto as a photo-library, rather than a gallery?
Any tips, if so?

I'm also interested to know if anyone has any tips more generally on organising media in a photo library, as I'm not really sure how to start, at the moment.

I'm thinking of using ZenPhoto as an image-bank for a student web-journalism project. We'd previously used iPhoto, but we need an online solution so that our students can access the library off-campus.

At the moment, I'm thinking I'll need to create a custom theme, with a search page with more options. I'm fairly conversant with HTML/CSS/PHP, so I'm sure I'll be able to sort things out technically, I'm just a little uncertain where to start.

Any advice/experience much appreciated.

Cheers,

Zenphoto is organised in albums that can have images or further albums that also can have further albums and so on. The levels are only limited by your server space (and usability possibly).
