I just moved my zenphoto installation to a new server.
Everything is working fine but some of my pictures' dates were changed to the current date (4/6/14).
I tried overwriting the images database table, but whenever I refresh the site, the same issue appears and I also noticed that dates are being automatically changed in the image table as well.
This is a BIG problem because I use a date based sorting order and this issue is messing up my site. I was forced to put it maintenance mode.
Is there a way to fix this?

Zenphoto's gallery is file system based so db table changes are of course overwritten. Be sure to follow these instructions for moving sites: http://www.zenphoto.org/news/moving-and-changing-existing-installations

I followed the istructions step by step... but that did not prevent the issue from appearing.
Solved by manually changing the date for each image.

Of course if you copy images to a new server the file date may change. I fear that is not avoidable. However the internal embedded meta data date should not change.

Important is in any case to copy first the albums and image and the re-install the database backup.
