I downloaded the zenphoto-1.4.1.tar.gz tonight and installed it and I still can't login as admin (it redirects back to the login back no matter what). I checked the version.php file and it did not have an extra line.

Try clearing browser cookies. If that does not help you probably need to reset your password. Please also visit the troubleshooting guide.

I'm having same prob...redirect back to login.
Also. every time I add anything to .htaccess it gens a 500 error, unil I take the change back out. I use vi on the server.
I'm on isp, no access to apache conf

d/led 1.4.1 3 or 4 days ago. Thats the 1st zp I've tried.
d/led nightly build today...no change, same frustrations

I have same problem... I just download, I ran setup.php then GO, then choose a user name / password. Then when I want to login with these info, it just reload the login screen... but if I go back to rerun the setup it ask me for the admin login and this times it accept my login and I can rerun the setup... but Im never able to login in zp-core/admin.php

I'm hitting this error: Zenphoto encountered an error
MySQL Query ( UPDATE zp_administrators SET id=NULL WHERE id='7' ) failed. MySQL returned the error Duplicate entry '0' for key 'PRIMARY'

Also I suddenly have a new user that's appeared with username "1"

If you really use 1.4.1 please try 1.4.1.1. If that does not work please try the trunk nightly build.
