Hello,
mp4 videos just work fine in my case with flvplayer.
But I have also some videos made with my iPhone 3GS (.MOV) that I have put in the "album" folder and these videos are not played : as a result I only obtain the blue "Q" of quicktime on the screen.
any idea ?
thanx

It is general knowledge that Apple's mobile machines don't support Flash, so flvplayer being a Flash video player can't work.

I don't know the iPhone in detail but you might need to check how which codec these .mov files are using (like .flv files .mov files are a container, not a codec itself).

That only means, you need to convert other files into .mov for it to play with iPhone or iPad. I wonder why Apple did not acquire any other files to play it in their device system with the default player.

Just for anyone visiting. flvplayer as a plugin is not supported anymore.

mov is a container not a format and can contain various codecs of audio/video. The general container format to be used on the net is mp4 by now (that is the h264 codec generally.
