I'm new to Zenphoto so go easy!
I'm using a theme called Gallerific and when I click on my gallery thumbnail, I just get an error, I don't see my images, this is the error:
"Fatal error: Call to a member function getFolder() on a non-object in /hermes/web01/b733/moo.lunaray/gallery/zp-core/template-functions.php on line 3413"
Any idea what the error means, or what my problem is? I checked the folders on my server and the image files are there.
Thanks,
Ray
Hi, Thank you for your information. I'm trying ZPGallerific again on a new photo album and getting the same error again. Here's my info:
I'm using Zen Version: 1.2.1
The theme is ZPGallerific: Version 1.0 (release 2/18/2010)
Here's the theme info page: http://www.zenphoto.org/zp/theme/zpGalleriffic/subpages.jpg.php (and it's rated as "generally compatible 3rd party" theme.
Here's my website page: http://www.allencombsphotography.com/portfolio/
If you click on the album this is the error message: Fatal error: Call to a member function getFolder() on a non-object in /hermes/web09/b1501/as.allencombs/public_html/portfolio/zp-core/template-functions.php on line 3413
Thanks so much in advance for anyone who looks into this problem for me.
The error you are getting is from a call on getRSSHeaderLink("Collection"); Probably it is being called in then wrong context, but I really would not know as I am not familiar with that theme.
You should be aware that the current version of Zenphoto is 1.3. So you are using a theme for which we cannot provide support on a Zenphoto version which is no longer supported. More to the point, I have no idea what version of Zenphoto the ZPGalelerific theme was compatible with.
Hi Sbillard, thanks for that info. That helps point me in the right direction with the RSSheaderlink. I just installed this gallery for my client through my web-hosting add-ons. I am going to upgrade now. That might help. Thanks again! If upgrading fixes the problem, I'm come back and repost about it, so if someone else is having the same problem.
Be aware that "installed this gallery for my client through my web-hosting add-ons" probably means that you used a third-party install routine. This tyically results in problems with your Admin user/password. There is a trouble shooting guide for this situation should you find yourself in it after upgrading.
Thanks for your post.
I am having the same problem.
