It would be great if there was an option to sort photos by date (as embedded in the JPEG file).
I just uploaded an album with photos from 2 cameras, each one with its own naming convention. I had to do chronological sorting manually.
This would be a great feature although I don't know what facilites PHP has for reading Metadata from photos.
Zenphoto currently does not support EXIF or IPTC. Tris is working on EXIF for a later version. Some of us have come up with display modules for the EXIF data, but not a way to sort by date.
The 1.0.3 version doesn't come with date functionality working, and it's something you need to hack yourself to get working. I've got it to work, but it only displays the date, nothing more currently. This is also in the works.
