Is there any reason to stick with a pure css theme for ZenPhoto. I have a fairly complex website and would like to make ZenPhoto look like the rest of the site. I am not a css purist. I still believe tables are useful and quite often work better in all browsers (This is not to say that css isn't useful). Without getting into the css and standards debate, I'm wondering if there's any real reason that tables cannot be used in a theme?

I agree, tables do have their place, and as long as they work for you, you're welcome to use them.

There's no reason tables can't be used! Zenphoto will work in whatever HTML the theme has in it, so whatever you want really. You can even output plain text, XML, RSS, whatever, in a theme page. Zenphoto doesn't care :-)

Cool, thanks for the quick reply. I've set up Zenphoto and I love it. I've been searching for something that is user friendly enough for my 70+ year old client to use. He's an artist and wants to display his paintings, but everything else we've tried is too confusing for him. Did a quick run through with him this afternoon and he gets it! Finally, I won't have to upload his paintings anymore...he can do it all himself. Thanks you so much for this wonderful script!
