Mag6999, No, I don't believe there is a complete, correct, concise set of installation instructions available. Equal parts luck, past experience, and sympathetic help from those that have run the gauntlet before might get you there.
But, no, as of yet, good luck on an install procedure.

It's a quick reference I wrote to help with common problems, with things to double check. I also looked through the install guide on the wiki, and it looks like there have been a number of changes to that document.
Bear in mind that a lot of documentation has yet to be written.
