Hi everybody,
I'm new to Zenphoto and would like to ask you about a doubt I've got. I thought Zenphoto galleries were the ones you can see by visiting the demo link on Zenphoto homepage, which are static. Today I found a totally different kind of gallery (which I already knew but didn't know it was by Zenphoto) which is mainly animated. That's the one at http://www.sergiomuniz.it/gallery/.
So here's my question: which one is the version you can download from ZP website? As I suppose it's the static one, is there a way to download the animated one?

No, that's the same zenphoto. He just installed Lightbox (or a derivat) as an additional effect which you can download here:

There are many threads on how to implement this:

@thepoet-

To clarify what you are stating in terms of static vs animated, zenphoto is a dynamic PHP script designed to display photos from a database in a gallery (album/image) format. The animated pieces you are referring to are lightbox modifications placed in the theme that the user has designed to display the images. While this functionality doesn't come with the core zenphoto themes, it can be added through a number of themes. Some of these themes, like the simpleviewer theme found on the wiki, can add more "animated" presentation to the gallery. The wiki has a number of user submitted themes available, and you can search the forum for more ways to "theme" your gallery.

So there are not two kinds of zenphoto galleries, just different themes. The underlying core code is still the same, it's just the themes that make the gallery look and act the way you want.

Hope that helps.
